As our Account Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in daily social media operations. Working closely with our CEO and team, you’ll manage client accounts, develop effective social media strategies, and provide insightful analytics that impress.

This full-time, permanent position is remote, with one day per month in our Hamilton, Ontario office. You’ll work 9am-5pm EST, with occasional nighttime and weekend hours.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client Management:
Provide day-to-day client services with excellent support.
Serve as the main point of contact for client accounts and projects.
Drive the growth of clients through proactive maintenance.
Ensure overall client satisfaction and timely delivery of all commitments.
Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of clients’ companies, products, services, and industries.
Conduct regular reporting, showcasing client results and insights.
Present strategic recommendations based on data analysis and social media trends.
Address client concerns proactively and provide effective solutions.
Internally:
Oversee the preparation and delivery of internal team work.
Manage Account Coordinator and Community Management Coordinator, and support Social Content Manager/Coordinator.
Collaborate with the management team to drive revenue growth and identify new business opportunities, while ensuring current client satisfaction and engagement.
Participate in strategy and planning sessions with the CEO.
Implement processes and structures set by the CEO and Director of Operations to maintain organization and efficiency.
Develop and execute social media marketing strategies tailored to each client’s goals.
Oversee the creation and implementation of content calendars for clients.
Train and mentor junior team members on best practices and emerging social media trends.
Utilize social media management and analytics tools to monitor and measure campaign performance.
Foster a positive, collaborative team environment that encourages innovation and creativity.
REQUIREMENTS:
3-5+ years in Communications, Marketing, or related field (BA required)
Agency experience preferred
Social media/digital marketing certifications (e.g., Hootsuite, Google Analytics) is a plus
Deep understanding of the social media space - in-depth knowledge of social media trends, platforms, tools, and trends.
Strong client experience and project management skills with proven experience in managing multiple clients
Ability to develop and implement social media strategies that align with client goals
Experience with copywriting and creating content for social media
Experience with social media advertising and analytics
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills
A team player and self-starter - you thrive in a fast-paced environment, are easy to work alongside, and always gets the job done
Strong communicator with attention to detail
